That's what most people who first discover our site want to do straight away & why not... it's great fun. Anyone can browse - just click the link on our homepage & start searching. You may have a destination you've always wanted to visit which is where you'll undoubtedly head first. Nowhere particlar in mind.. you can just search our entire listing & see what takes your fancy!
Each listing has a description of the property, the location & something about the owners. You'll also see photos of the property which makes browsing so much fun!

Listing your own property
Ok, so you've spent time browsing properties & you think you've found a property you'd like to swap with. You need to signup (it's totally free at present), this allows you to contact other HouseSwapGlobal home owners & also enables you to list your own property. Remember others have to see your property to see if they'd like to swap.

Photos
Be sure to take the best photos you possibly can. You want to show your house in the best possible way, so take your time & shoot some great photos both indoors & out. Remember.. "a picture is worth a thousand words", so make the most of what you've got.

Who'll want to swap with me
People want to swap for different reasons. Naturally if you have a beautiful beach house or a country manor, you'll get lots of enquiries. You don't always have to have a similar standard home to be able to swap, as people want to stay in different places for all sorts of reasons. They may want somewhere near family or friends in a suburb or village, not necessarily in an exotic location. So there's no telling who may want to swap with you.

Making Contact
All communication is with you and the other party. Once you've made contact via HomeSwapGlobal, it's up to you to negotiate your swapping arrangement between yourselves. We merely act as a contact point & then you're on your way. You can keep in contact with other houseswappers by email or phone, it's up to you.
